It's common for the standard rubber intake hoses fitted to these vehicles to compress at high RPM causing lag, not only that but they are prone to fatigue and split over time. The ATI silicone intake hose upgrade completely replaces the factory rubber hose with a reinforced silicone hose that wont fatigue and limits compression under high RPM/boost, delivering improved throttle response throughout the rev range.
